Canadian Publications

bullet Atlantis
Atlantis is an interdisciplinary journal devoted to critical and creative writing in English or French on the topic of women. The journal welcomes material embodying all viewpoints on Women's Studies. Scholarly articles, book and film reviews, poetry, short stories and graphic work are considered for publication. Atlantis (ISSN 0702-7818) is a member of the Canadian Magazine Publishers' Association and the Canadian Association of Learned Journals.

Canadian Woman Studies is a feminist quarterly which was founded with the goal of making current writing and research on a wide variety of feminist topics accessible to the largest possible community of women.

bullet Resources for Feminist Research (RFR)/ Documentation sur la recherche féministe (DRF)
Resources for Feminist Research (RFR)/ Documentation sur la recherche féministe (DRF) is a bilingual (English / French) Canadian scholarly journal published since 1972. It is published in the Centre for Women's Studies in Education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education through University of Toronto. RFR / DRF addresses Canadian and international feminist research issues and debates.

The journal's aim is to produce a quality, peer-reviewed journal that demonstrates the range of applications of feminist theory and methodology, as well as give emerging feminist scholars a venue for their work. Besides articles, the journal contains essays, editorials, book reviews, and new books in print.

bullet Women in Judaism: A Multidisciplinary Journal
The ultimate aim of the journal is to promote the reconceptualization of the study of Judaism, by acknowledging and incorporating the roles played by women, and by encouraging the development of alternative research paradigms. It is particularly intended to promote critical analysis of gender inequalities within Jewish religion, culture and society, both ancient and modern. Feminist Collections has the latest print and audiovisual resources for research and teaching in women's studies. There are guides to new bibliographies and reference works, film and video critiques, computer updates, and news of out-of-the-way materials -- pamphlets, reports, rare book dealers' catalogs, microforms, and more. Thoughtful articles explore women's publishing, Internet resources, library organization, archives, and other tools for feminist scholarship. New periodicals and special issues of journals in other disciplines are announced in each issue.

Gender Policy Review is a monthly magazine geared toward policy professionals and individuals interested in gender and international, development and domestic politics. The journal seeks to provide a forum for discussions and news on current laws and policies that affect gender power relations as well as the position of women in their societies and globally. Gender Policy Review is available online the 15th of every month.

Sexing the Political: A Journal of Third Wave Feminists on Sexuality is a tri-annual on-line journal for third wave feminists to theorize, satirize, politicize and organize about issues related to sexuality.
