PAR-L
PAR-L is a bilingual electronic network of individuals and organizations interested
in women-centred policy issues in Canada. It is intended as a support for the
community of feminist researchers and activists in Canada.The discussion list
was opened on March 8, 1995, by the Canadian Advisory Council on the Status of
Women (CACSW), and is now based at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton,
with over 1,400 subscribers.
WOMEN-HEALTH
WOMEN-HEALTH is an electronic mailing list for activists, researchers, and
policy makers, both nationally and internationally, who are working to
improve women's health. The list was created, and is managed, by the BC
Centre of Excellence for Women's Health.
Women, Peace and Security list serve
The Canadian Joint NGO-Government Committee on Women, Peace and Security and the
Canadian Peacebuilding Coordinating Committee's Gender and Peacebuilding Working

WIGSAT-L
An Internet mailing list on international gender, science, and
technology issues, for NGOs, researchers, policy makers, and anyone
interested in gender, science, and technology for development. The list
regularly distributes information on job announcements, events, and
publications, including the International Gender, Science and Technology
Digest.
WMST-L
"Established in May 1991, WMST-L now has more than four thousand subscribers in forty-seven
countries, ranging from the United States and Canada to Israel, Saudi Arabia, Brazil,
Singapore, and Australia." Founded by Joan Korenman at the University of Maryland
in Baltimore, WMST-L is an international electronic forum for people involved in
Women's Studies as teachers, researchers, librarians, and/or program administrators.
It offers a rapid and cost-free way for participants to ask questions and exchange
information about the academic side of Women's Studies.
