Canadian Organisations
Canadian Federation of University Women
Founded in 1919, The Canadian Federation of University Women is a voluntary,
nonpartisan, non-profit, self-funded bilingual organization of 10,000 women
university graduates. CFUW members are active in public affairs, working to
raise the social, economic, and legal status of women, as well as to improve
education, the environment, peace, justice and human rights.
Canadian Women's Studies Association
The goals of the CWSA are to build a Women's Studies network across Canada,
and to promote Women's Studies as an interdisciplinary field within the academic community.

Canadian Women's Studies On-line provides an index to all Women's Studies undergraduate and
graduate programs in Canada. These are broken down provincially, and
provide direct links to the university departments.
International Women's Studies Programs
Virtual International Women's University
The International Women's University is the first and, so far, only
gender-specific university of its kind in Europe. IFU is a bold academic
innovation by, for, and about women. IFU is an international university,
interdisciplinary in scope and methodology of academic work, and intercultural
across all political borders as well as ethnic and religious divides.

The WMST-L web site provides links to more than 450 international Women's
Studies (including "Gender Studies") programs, departments, and research
centres around the world that have Web sites. Programs and departments
offering graduate degrees or concentrations have this fact noted in an
